    Hello all
Does anyone know how to turn off the blasted Word feature whereby it capitalises words automatically. I have switched off every 'auto-this-and-that' option I can find but it still insists on converting my text. I am writing text inside a table. Version: Word 2000. This has to be the most un-productive application ever!
    Thanks...

Format -> AutoFormat... -> Options... -> "Autocorrect" tab -> and then uncheck "Capitalise first letter of table cells".

Thats with Office 2003 but I imagine its similar in 2000.

Text wrapping! Then you can edit the wrap points to make text flow around a shape. :)

    Do tell........

    Using win XP .....

insert image using insert > picture > choose source etc

you can change pic size/position if you want ....

once image is in place right click on it > choose 'format picture' select 'layout tab' > choose 'tight' > ok

now place cursor where you want and off you go .... your work will look like a real pro job !!!! :p

(try the other options in addition to 'tight' .... as the guys mention above, they can make your work look great! :p )

Great tip hobie! Thanks. I've been messing around with it and documents look great. Been trying to figure that out for ages myself too. Nice one.
