Every week here there is always some post that wants to know peoples business

    How old are you

    What do you work at

    Where do you live

How many body parts are you missing

How many cars are in your driveway

    ECT ECT ECT

I have to think why would anyone want to know what i work at or where i live or how many crocks are in my driveway if you dont know me,whats the point?

Its like having a Tesco clubcard in here sometimes, they want to know everything about you!

Because they live on the internet and never see the sun. They live through other people's donated lives.

Was it a personal question to you?

It's usually as an attention whoring thing on their part....ie an excuse to tell everyone else on the forum what they do/what their favourite colour is/how many GB of pr0n they have on their PC etc. but subtly disguised as a general question.

    Electroconvulsive therapy?

I think people don't really want to know other people's business, but people want to tell each other this kind of crap.

I think its because some people like to post something on th internet(something really interesting like how many TV's have you in your house)and when they get more than 6 replys they get excited and tell all their friends(online friends)about it,it makes some people feel alive

Oooh... how many TVs in your house?

You just know someone is writing these down to use at a later date.

Me..? I've only got the one transvestite in my house.

Me..? I've only got the one transvestite in my house.

Most families have one in the living room and one in the bedroom. It's the secret to a long marriage.

The reason such threads are popular is because they are easy to reply to. You don't have to think about where you live, what you do, how old you are, how many pets you have. It's not something you form an opinion on, it's a fact. So people reply with minimal effort. In fact, I think more people reply than read these threads, though why they're started in the first place is indeed a mystery.

Because they want to know if they are normal.

Because people are naturally inquisative, about everything.

Thats how we are where we are today, the guy who invented the internet must've gone round to all his mates asking them about how much time and money they thought they'd save on post with a new fangled 'interweb'. I'm sure they thought he was a nosey fecker but see what it got us today!

Just answer the questions and be happy about it, or don't answer the questions and be happy about that.

Are you happy with your yearly spend on stationary? :v:

i like the fair bit of gossip myself but i think people are just naturally nosey and if they dont have excitement in their own life they try to crate it by finding out about others peoples

TBH big brother had shown us this is ok
i know some people who stay up most nights to watch that ****e during the summer
    its pathetic

    Fun fact;
There's no such thing as "normal" when it comes to humans.
