    Hi All

Hoping someone can help me to find some affordable accommodation in Rome. Myself and My Wife are reliving some of our Honeymoon 5 years on  , later in the year and are looking to find a nice hotel/B&B that will not break the bank. We stayed in a 5 Star Hotel last time but I think that is well out of the Budget this year.

    Something inexpensive but not cheap!!!!

    Thanks

    Mickh

    Hi mickh,

Check out "Hotel Des Artistes" : http://www.hoteldesartistes.com/lodging-in-rome.html

It's pretty near the main train terminal, about 20 minutes from the Colloseum as I remember. The rooms are alright and not too cramped. I don't think it's particularly cheap, but I stayed there for the 6 nations, so the prices are probably a bit higher at that time of year

you should try the President Best Western, it's cheap & it's right beside the colloseum, very clean & easy to go to.
