Laptop battery power non existant

    My laptop's battery doesnt work anymore. It just stopped working after about8 months i dont really want to bring it into a shop to get it sorted but the only thing is there is no way of manually removing the battery i.e there is no slot or screws. its an advent laptop. can anyone help?

    usually the battery is the easiest thing to remove.

    there should be some sort of slider/button , maybe two, which need to be slid back and the bnatter pulled off

    aye there should be a "padlock" icon someone on the underneath of the laptop, you should be able to push it one way, and the battery should should slide out.
