    Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a way of installing a wooden floor in an apartment that could be soundproofed to an extent that noise wouldn't be an issue to those living underneath?

    Cheers!

AFIK all apartment buildings now built have cork layed on the floors for this reason. The wooden floor fitters should also lay a roll of insulation under the floor (at least thats what they did in ours last week).
It may also be in the management contract that you cannot have wooden floors as i have seen this in the past.
