Just to let you all know, the website for the Cue Club is now online at http://www.killarneycueclub.com/

You'll see all the information you need on it. All tournaments are 100% payouts, with the exception of 10% retained for the league, which is played for between the top nine players at the end of the qualifying period and reg fees are typically 10% or €5 for the smaller buy ins. The blind structure varies depending on the tournament and is publicised in advance.

The last Friday of the month tournament is usually sold out well in advance so anyone intending to play should contact the club before making any arrangements.

There will be a weekend "opening" festival in the near future which will be publicised on here as well as on the site.

Any Boards members intending to travel to play in any tournament should contact Connie at the club first to avail of advantageous hotel rates.

Hope to see some of you there:)

Played here last night for the first time in a 50+5 F0. Good well-organised set up. The blinds were reasonable and allowed for plenty of play. The tables and chips were good. It was great to have a dealer at all tables to help play along. I look forward to playing here again but next time I hope my QQ won't be beaten by K7o hitting a str8.

Cheers connie. Should be there on Sunday night. Will say hello. If there is still room on the end of the month game I will put my name down for it then. Sounds good.

I unexpectedly ended up playing here last Friday. Missed the Tournament but played in a SnG sidegame. Nice place, friendly people and there was a big crowd there for the tourney. I'll try to get back at some stage and defend my 'unbeaten in Killarney' title (1 out of 1 :) )
