In my annoyance over ITV3 being taken off the EPG I bought a Sky "Free to view" card on EBay. This card arrived today. Based on the phone eumber on the back (same as on my regular Sky card) I'm pretty sure this is a cancelled Sky subcription card not an actual free to view card.
My question is - does this make any practical difference to me?
    Thanks in advance.

No.. as a cancelled UK sub card becomes a FTV card.

Just leave it in the box for a few hours/overnight (make sure the phoneline is unplugged!) for it to activate and you'll be sorted :)

only if it is a RoI card, unless you only want to watch Sky Three

The sky freesat card is the same look as a regular card.

Well, I got it from a guy in the UK.
I contacted the seller and he offered to take it back and refund my money.
My concern is that if it was a genuine free to view card it should work till 2008 but if it is a cancelled Sky card then Sky could de-activate it any time they feel like it. Is this correct? Any opinions on should I send it back?
