I'm looking to sit the first ccna exam asap. Can someone recommend a good place in Dublin (or anywhere) to sit this exam?

    Prometric Testing Centres - http://www.2test.com/

You have a choice between Calyx Training on Mount Street and New Horizons on Strand Street near the Jervis centre. Pearson Vue also have some test centres in Dublin, but Prometric is the easiest to deal with IMO.

To get over 80% in any exam is hard, but when it comes to Cisco it' s doubley hard. As for the books and cd that are available, they are not worth didley **** to you in the exam, the configuration is different than in the books and the questions are a lot tougher than in the books, but im sure you will be fine.

The pass rate is currently set at 849/1000. EDIT: oops thats for CCNA.. I don't know about the Intro exam.

Prometric on Mount St. are nice and professional.. free cup of tea beforehand as well .. some of the rooms are a bit on the warm side that would be the only thing.

As in Calyx? Yeah they were really nice, I was down one item of ID (had my passport but had nothing else with a sig like bank card because my wallet was stolen) and they let me off.
