What a cooincidence, a foreign guy pulled up in his car beside me at ALdi in Blanch to ask if I wanted to buy a donkey. I thought it was a scam. Bloody boards scaremongering.

Well, I can only assume that they mean the companionship the donkeys brought her. I would have gotten her a cat or dog..

Not too surprised, donkeys are making good money these days..
I remember years ago, below in Puck fair you could pick up a donkey on the way home for around 50 quid off the boys, (even less if you are willing to haggle to the extreme!), now a days i've heard of them going for 300 euro and upwards.
