Can't understand how nickel and dime and ciara get thru every week. They can't sing!

No one really stands out tbh, they're all a bit hit and miss. The cork girl Jeanette is quite sexy, knows how to work the camera well.

Anyway who ever wins will be a one hit wonder no doubt.

I think the majority are rubbish , how the blonde young one gets in every week is beyond me. I do have to say Lucia has star quality , she can sing and is the best of a very bad bunch.

I think no matter how bad everyone actually its unfair to see the way Brendan O'Connor and Linda Martin act every week. Its painful to watch.

At least the contestants can actually sing in Xfactor and apart from a select few the contestants are dreadfull. That makes You're a Star indescribably shite.

Its a pity Tammy got kicked out. Ive met her and heard her sing live on several occasions shes got a fantasic voice. She can sing Anastasia just as well as the real thing!. The song she sang on the night at your a star just didnt suit her at all.
The rest of them im not that mad about. The young lad whos still in school is good but finds it hard to stay in tune and needs to learn to do more than just stand with his head crooked! That maralyn girl is she still in it she had a good voice and I like the girl with the blond hair the quirky looking one
cant tolerate Linda Martin shes a scrawny miserable relic whose sense of humour has long died out. Your man Brendan think shes hilarious but hes really just looking at the girls bodies istead of listening to their voices!

to stick up for Jeanette... the quirky blonde one.. I've seen her singing with Cartoon.. a Jazz band, in the Cork Opera House and she was amazing. Her voice just doesn't seem to come across very well on the show.. but it is absolutely powerful. I wouldn't have thought so at all going by her performances on the show..

They really are very bad.
There are some extemely talented people in this country, but the show comes with a tacky stigma attached, so they don't wanna go that route.

The guys who do go that route have nothing to lose in the first place, they were never going to be credible artists!

To be honest lads. The small girl who sang originally with the guitar is really good. The one who hurt her leg. She's got talent and a future. As for the rest. Not too impressive.

Look at the judges. Thomas Black's record of signings at Emi was far from impressive. He boasted about the signing if Relish. And what a career they went on to have. So I really didn't expect too much to be honest.
