Does anyone have a website or specific hotel that is excellent value.
Essentially I am looking for the bargain out there...

www.laterooms.com does genuine last minute deals if you are prepared to wait until relativly close to departure.

I've used the Travellodge in Islington and its fine.

City Inn Westminster is a great spot and exc. value at about GBP100 a room per night....

Proxy

Holiday Inn Express on Southwark Street is quite nice, and in a great location. Look it up on Google Maps, its right behind the Tate Modern, 5 min walk to the Thames.
