Getting ripped by JM photo

Everyone,,, I use a large quantity of 5x7 and 10x8 slip mounts every month and the only place I seem to be able to get them in Dublin is J.M. Photo in Inchicore at silly prices.

I've looked at a few U.K. suppliers, but all the ones I checked out only did mounts for slides, mabey I'm calling them by their wrong name.

Does anyone know anywhere I could get these at better prices and quantities ?
    Gracias Amigos.

    Hiya,

Maybe I use different terminology / am an ignoramous, but can you explain what slip-mount is? Would it be more than your standard bevel-cut card mount?

    Cheers,

    B.

Try a search for "photo mats".

    Hi Benster,

Yes , they are more than just mounts, they are like a birthday card, where you flip it open and the actual photograph is 'slipped in'.

I'm sure you've seen them before, mabey I'm just not describing them very well. They're the kind of thing we would have been sent home from school with after some dusty old fart of a photographer would have been around !

Of course the term 'Slip.........Mount' might have different meanings for different people, I can assure this inquirey is purley on a professional basis.

Thank you for your reply my freind, and regarding your personal 'ignoramus' slant, remember, we are all ignorami ( if that be the plural ), but some of us are looking at the stars, to bastardise dear old Oscar !

Hey, no problem. I was going to reply that I got mounts done in Regency Frames in Baldoyle Ind. Estate but I dunno if they do what you're after. Maybe give 'em a ring, their prices weren't too bad.

    [And no, I don't work for them :) ]
