So just watched Tony Jaas (0ng Bak)and its even worse storyline wise than Ong Bak but slightly better in the one on one stakes.
Movie starts out celebrating Thai customs (which i thought was nice as its very indepth)stick with it as it takes about 20 mins to finish the whole "Thais are good ummmkay" part.

Then as expected its an ass kicking movie with a plot which honeslty i had no clue what it was about other than elephants and due to the bad subtitling noone else will have any clue either. The move seems very disjointed like it was edited whilst out on the beer but they sacked the entire camera crew and editing team right about the time Kham enters the unknown part of the restaurant from their on the camera work is superb and the general editing improves beyond a pre schoolers attempt.

Overall this movie should suck and suck badly but the non wire work from an actor not yet dead is quite refreshing and every fight scene you look at more closely knowing theres no fancy crap attached to it. And is it
    Jackie Chan
in the airport when he 1st lands in Sydney?

Overall crap move lacking any sort of decent production values but just watching the fight scenes alone makes it just about watchable.

I wouldn't care if there's no script, if it's anything like Ong Bak I'm sold :)

Born to Fight is good, but the stunts are no where as great as Ong-Bak.

Can't wait for Tom Yum Goong.

There's a film theory about Scottish cinema i think its 'Kailyard' or is that the other one.

which to put it simply plays up the scottish way of life and how good the old village/country ways were and how big buisness globalisation etc are a threat to them.

When i saw Ong-Bak i couldnt help but mutter through the entire film 'Thai Kailyard' Thaiyard!'

Personnally i find the thoery lacking as i find alot of films tend to do this sort of formula regardless of their nation of origin.

Well then just turn the subtitles off save your self pondering if Por Kai is really in it for the money :D

Forgot about the fight in the temple its in an inch of water and he fights a breakdancer type dude, a wrestler and a chinsese Wushu sword wielding guy.

    Cracking entertainment :)
