For anyone who wants to know what the link is before clicking:
News : NASN goes on Setanta Sports Package!!!
Just watching Setanta Sports 1 and they are now advertising that NASN will become part of the Setanta Sports Package from February 1st. This is good news for some, especially if paying for NASN and want to add 3 or 4£ for more Sports, or you already have Setanta.

I'am not sure who to contact first, I have a account for Setanta and NASN, I have not been told anything and I sure don't want to pay for 2 Subs that I don't need to, also I seem to have great access to Setanta Ireland which I don't want to lose.

Yes, it woudl be a good addition to the Setanta package, and make it more appealing I reckon.

    Taken from that thread:

Yes you can. No need for sky sub."

If I have a digibox and dont subscribe to any sky packages, can I still subscribe to setanta like the poster in that quote says?

    Not on a FTV card.

They may send a Sky card. Ring and see.

I can now confirm that from tomorrow all Setanta Subscribers get NASN and vice versa.

I've got subscriptions to both, I wonder what hoops I'll have to jump through on the phone to cancel one of them and just pay once. I think both are 12 month contracts so they might be picky about canceling.

Anyone know what the pricing for this package shall be. I checked Setanta's site and it still says nothing about this you package.

I emailed setanta to see if they supply cards for users with digiboxes without subs to sky and so far no reply.

I've just had NASN acvivated. It seems to be taking a while. As regards pricing, according to the DS thread they will be writing to all subscribers.

I mailed Setanta yesterday evening to verify what the Irish pricing arrangements for a combined Setanta/NASN package would be - given that an Irish Setanta sub is heavily discounted compared with a UK sub, whereas an Irish NASN sub isn't.

No reply as yet. I'll post any update I get.

Called them up last night, seeing as they hadn't replied to my emails.

Essentially, NASN has been added as an additional channel to the Setanta pack at no extra cost.

So €13/month or €150/year now gives you Setanta Ireland, Setanta One & Two, Celtic & Rangers TV plus NASN.

does anyone know if you can get setanta without signing up for any sky channels?

Probably wont get sky but just want to know in case.
