    considering going on trans siberian railway from moscow to beijing ,700euro return, anyone done it ???

    haven't done it, but planning to go Moscow - Beijing in April this year, costing about €450 one way with stops in Irkutz and Ulaan Baator. Get the Thomas Bryn book?

    I wouldn't do it both ways - the scenery will be much the same on the way back (i.e. trees).

    The trip comes up as a topic here from time to time so a search should yield some useful info.

    Yeah, try look backwards for old threads on this (or similar). I seem to remember someone giving a very detailed response before...
