New Irish Ranked Bf2 Server

    Hi just got round to setting up our RANKED server were just getting the hang of the admin controls and trying to start up a few games

    note : the server is hosted by jolt.co.uk and were not a clan we just like bf2 post on our fourms for maps and we will have a custom map night more details on our fourms

    Its ranked, we plan to do a custom map night or day in a few weeks time (ranking will of course be off for that time, but its a bit of fun)

    Thanks for coming on d22, hopefully when more people come on we can get some longer games going. :D

    I didn't think Jolt could host ranked servers ?

    Just browsing there battlefield section they have a notice saying ranked servers have arrived posted on the 20th of december, so maybe they only got them then.

    Well done on getting your server sorted. What you using to admin it? If its bf2cc then be cafeful as its not that great.

    Ya were using BF2CC, seemed handy enough, but it did seem to picky when when we could login.

    Whats dont you find good about BF2CC? Any ideas on an alternative? HLSW?

    Unfortunatley you are stuck with it for daemon connections. For rcon connections check out bf2ra, google will find it. The front end is much neater and easier to use.

    BF2CC isnt a patch on the BBops tools for BF42 and BFV.

    thanks for the reply, according to jolt we dont have access to the daemon, (could only connect through R-con so sent them a support ticket and they said we cant use that, any changes that need to made that we cant do they will do for us)

    Will try out bf2ra now.
