Hoping to get up to Leopardstown tomorrow. There are two grade 1 and a grade 3 race on :)

I can't wait to see Brave Inca (NAP) run, I just love the horse, and with McCoy on board, he should do it.

I seldom do multiple bets, but Im going to do one tomorrow, so here is a fun €10 trixie:

    All at Leopardstown

    1.50 - Nickname
    2.55 - Brave Inca
    3.30 - Nicanor

    Regards,

    Wayne

i gonna go with LORD LUMEY tomorrow in the 4.30, this horse ran a good race last time out in leopardstown and was jockeyed by nina carberry also, who has a very good strike rate when combined with noel meade...Forcasted at 3/1 i think this horse will produce the goods and improve on its last performance (came 2nd beaten by 1 1/2 lengths) obvious danger is SHANGHIDE who ran a very good race at punchestown on the 14th of Jan, this horse also finished second and was safe home by 12 lenghts to third....

Excellent betting. 3 winners and 2 3rds. Nap won 9/2 sp (:D ) and your nb also won.

Pity i didnt stick to it!!!

    I ended up doing:
    Missed that
    Zum See
    Hardy Eustace
    Finger on the Pulse
    Good Thyne Jack

and a single on Equis Maxius (still cant spell it).

I was very diappointed in finger onthe pulse, i can only hope something was amiss like the ground or he wasnt 100% he shouldnt have been beaten that far, not taking anything away from the winner.
I get the feeling today for hardy was just a run out, O'Dwyer reported him to be not himself, I still think he's on for cheltenham and the 6/1 represents good value.
Good thyne jack was tipped to me yesterday, and by the looks of things i wasnt the only one to get word (10's into 9/2 sp)
what next for him? Probably a nice hike in weights, although he was already defied 3 such raises.
Missed That took a while to get going but didnt he pick up well, the arkle at cheltenham looks to be within his grasp, but i will reserve judgement until after i have seen a few of the other market leaders.
I didnt get to see most of the bumper, but Equis Max..... seemed to pick up well in the straight, might be one to follow for another bumper/maiden hurdle.

Yes, I noticed big money for Good Thyne Jack on Betfair last night, thats what alerted me. Very good betting there on a very competitive day overall.

Infection balmed for Hardy Eustace defeat

    by Keith Hamer

HARDY EUSTACE’S blood was found to be wrong following his poor display in the AIG Europe Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown.

The dual Smurfit Champion Hurdle hero will be on the easy list for at least a week before connections decide if they can get another prep run into the nine-year-old before he bids for a hat-trick of victories in the Cheltenham feature in March.

Trainer Dessie Hughes had been considering the Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran Park on February 18 for Hardy Eustace, who put in a rare under-par display when last of seven behind Brave Inca on Sunday.

"He looks fine and scoped clean after the race but we took a blood sample from him and it's not 100 per cent," said Hughes.

"He's picked up a little virus or whatever. He ran lifeless and never jumped a hurdle. We'll have to get him right.

"I don't think antibiotics will be any good for the particular infection he's got.

"We'll see how he is in a week or 10 days' time before thinking about whether he can go for the Red Mills but at least he's got time on his side for Cheltenham."
