    Hey all,

A friend of mine has a website for his pub. It hasn't been updated in ages and he wants me to do it for him.

Could you tell me what do I need to get off the previous web designer so that I can update the site. Do I need passwords, servers, etc etc.

I was also going to get my friend to get MS Frontpage 2003, what do ye think??

you'll need to find out who hosts the site.
who has registered the domain name.
the username and password used to ftp to the site.
all that should be given to you by the previous designer.

I wouldn't bother with Frontpage. I recommend NVU, it's free and does the business.
