Party Poker Million V satelite. 150 of 490 entrants left. 250+20 buy in. 9 seats worth 13500 are up for grabs. Average stack is 4900 and I have 3500. The blinds have just gone up to 100-200.

The table is 9 handed and play has been fairly tight for the last hour. It's my big blind and its folded to button who raises to 525. The small blind thinks for about 8-10 seconds then goes all in. All 3 of us have almost exactly the same stack.

I have AQo. What should I do?

I don't know if it's that cut and dry, although I'd probably fold myself anyway. The button could very easily be putting in a button raise, and the sb could very easily be on a resteal. That said though it's also a possibility that they have hands. I think because the blinds are still relatively low to your stack it's a fold. If the blinds were 200-400 it would be a tougher decision, and any higher I'd probably call.

The all in could be a medium pocket pair. Same for the raise. I would push all in and hope to take the orginal raiser out of the game with 2 all ins behind his raise. I only say that because you said he took a few seconds to decide after the raise and then pushed all in... He have JJ or 1010?

Except in very unusual circumstances AQ is an auto fold against a raise and a reraise. Sure there are times you will fold the best hand but your equity is negative against any reasnable range of hands. In this case there is no reason to think either player is a maniac, you have plenty of chips and playing the hand means calling all in, so its a pretty clear fold.

Im folding here putting him on 1010 or lower because of the time taken to decide about the all in, that said im putting the button on a steal.

Did the button fold? And the sb took it down there and then. even with it being a coin toss if you have your two over cards with your chip stack and the blinds they way they are it's not worth going into this as you may not push out the button raise with the reraise assuming he has a hand, then your 3 way and it's anyone’s game.

    Im folding here.

This is exactly how I would assess the situation had you come here and posted the same hand. I pretty much set AQ on fire to that sort of action 99.9% of the time.

My read on the situation, which Dave mentioned was that the button was on a weak blind steal attempt which the SB read the same as I did and pushed in to pick up the pot. I doubted he was pushing with crap but not with a hand he wanted a call with either. I thought AK was unlikely. In fact I was certain there was no hand he could think so long about pushing with that dominated me. I felt it was most likely a middle pair and AJ and AT were also possible. I called all-in. He had 66. I hit a Q on the flop. He turned a 6. Bye Bye Nicky.
