A mere $2 MTT on PPP with 450+ runners. Around 150 left & I have just under average stack. I dont think I did much wrong here, but someones bound to tell me different!!

Villian was short stacked, but has been stealing blinds to get back up there. Notes on this guy say he "likes to punt with A?"

Preflop is very aggresive, it can be hard to play small pairs against loose opponents. Just calling is probably better, and to be honest with more than 10 blinds folding is best.

On the flop you should just make a normal bet - let him make a mistake.

On the river you should try not to let yourself be sucked out on.

Well basically you got unlucky but there were a couple of things you probably should have done differently.

Raising to to 1200 with 33 when you've only got 5k probably isn't the best move in the world. If you think the two limpers are just calling with rubbish and you want to take the pot then and there you should probably raise a good bit more. You hear alot about always raising 3 to 4 times the big blind, this is fine but if there are limpers this should probably be increased a bit. This is a bit risky here though as the blinds could wake up with hands / the limpers could be slowplaying, so probably the correct play is to just flat call, and if you don't hit your 3 get out of it cheaply on the flop. It's very difficult to play a hand like 33 after the flop without hitting a set.

On the flop after hitting your set going all in is ok, but seeing as you're only against one other player you shouldn't be too worried about getting outdrawn. I'd probably check to let them bet themselves and then I'd go over the top. Against more than one player betting/ going all in on this flop is the correct move.

He called you all the same though, which is what you want, but you just got unlucky to be outdrawn.
