Well I imagine for your stereotypical, lager lout, cheat on your wife-to-be stag night its amazing....you can legally pay for both drugs and sex.....

having said that, if you're into paying for sex you shouldnt be getting married

Don't go during the week, nightlife is rubbish. Brussels has an excellent nightlife.

The nightlife is anything but excellent in Brussells. I'm sure Amsterdam is on par with the nightlife in Brussels with the exceptional benefit of being able to buy drugs over the counter in Amsterdam.

Brussels and Belgium in general equals boring. The Nederlands rocks , but Amsterdam is such a horrible place, I would suggest going on a stag night to the Hague as its lot nicer than Amsterdam.

I've always found Amsterdam a difficult place to organise - a stag there could be a nightmare. All the streets look the same (in their own charming way of course) and I ended up getting lost several times and if anyone gets lost from the group it's a nightmare to get them back.

Midweek it's hard to find somewhere decent to go, managed to find an Irish bar in the redlight district that served me til the early hours and then gave me a bed upstairs in their hostel (and then started serving me again at 9am when I got up:)) but even that place was dead tbh. Good craic at the bar but not for a stag.

At the weekend I'd imagine it's a different kettle of fish, could be quite a good stag there but you'd want to have it organised fairly well...

Would agree that Brussels is boring...the quietest city I've ever been in next to Rome...can't comment on Amsterdam though

I have been to the Damn about 10 times now, and have no idea what it's like!

I usually stay up around Rembrandt square as there are plenty of cafs and bars and night clubs around there and I dont have too far to fall into bed. Smokies Bar on the square is a fairly cool place to hang out. Other than that, I can't remember!

I have never been on a stag there nor have I traveled there with big numbers (normally between 2 and 4 of us), but I would imagine it would become very messy with the bigger the number.

If you do go, enjoy! It's like nowhere you have ever been before!
