The euromillions still hasnt been won. and if it isnt won. personally i think that amount of money is obsene for one person to have, but that is just me.

managed to get two numbers this week, got one last week, working my way up to getting them all.

    did anyone win anything.

anyone/where got the numbers, done a €60 syndicate at work (each chipped in a tenner)?

The odds are just so unreal for this lotto.
Imagine getting 5 numbers and only one of the lucky numbers next week (like that Irish guy last week).
Sure, a couple of 100k is nice, but you would be only one number..... ONE FRIGGIN NUMBER!!!! away from over €180m!!!

Crazy money.... might just afford a nice house in Dublin though...

if it's not won soon enough they'll distribute it down through people not getting all the numbers.

winning 183 million would end your life. In fairness, friends, family, hometown... everything would change for you.
You could try to stay anonymous but that would be really hard. Then if people know who you are there would be kidnap worries, people abducting family members or friends to try get money out of you. Everyone you are close to is a potential target.

I figured that there would be 2 or more winners of the jackpot today, as with the huge interest (Camelot in the UK reported a 1,000% increase on regular ticket sales), there was no way that no one in all of Europe didn't have the right numbers.
I would say that more than one person will win next week, but at this rate I can't even be sure that ANYONE will win it.
Unreal stuff, seriously unreal amount of money.
Just to point out, all of those millions would be nice and all, but I'd be more than happy to accept a few numbers that would ensure I can finish college without having to work/going into more debt.
    Thanks Jebus

So what are the odd on actually getting the 5 + 2 star things then. I know its supposed to be around 14million for the 49 balls x 6 drawn lottos, but my maths brain has given up functioning and I cannot figure out how you get to that number?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,793 ✭✭✭✭Hagar

€9.50 !!!! Wahoo. I'm off down to Raymod Weil, to buy a new battery for my Timex.

One in 76 million I think I heard on the radio yesterday.

The odds for every combination/permutation are on the back of the playslip...haven't checked my numbers yet but since it's not been won, I don't really care.
I think everyoine that had it done the week Delores scoped it, skipped a heartbeat when they heard it was won in Ireland, prior to checking their numbers....I know I did.

Have to agree with atrocity; life changing to the extreme....there'd be nothing for it but to get the f*ck out of htis country, if you wanted any sort of peace, at least for a couple of years...

Imagine if Dolores McNamara won it again. Now I for certain would be p1ssed. A promise to the people of boards if I win it i will form my own broadband company and roll out FTTH to areas where no broadband is available. :)

heh...if she has the patients to fill out 70-odd million lines of 5+2 numbers and invest her winnings from last time, she could double her bank balance next friday :v:

I'm sure she could out-source the task to India for about 100 euro.

Well, unless 1 or 2 others also win. :)

What is the least amount of number you need to win money? I must be the only person in Ireland who hasn't bought a ticket yet.
