I am brand shiny new to XBox live (just got a 360). Playing PDZ to beat-the-band and keep coming across gametags that begin with BOT. Just curious to know what/who these people are?

PS: XBLive has a fair amount of oddballs that love the sound of their own voices. Some American sounding "Dude" keep shoutiong "Aren't you BRAVE" over and over, makes you want to kill your own team mates!!!

Its a computer-controlled character just thrown into random gametypes, if you wish to add them that is!

It's not strictly in the spirit of achievements, but if you want the PD0 achievement points quickly, just setyourself up a 32 player deathmatch with 31 bots on agent difficulty

you'll get to 1000 kills in no time

I've often joined in sessions in progress where it's been one guy and nothing but bots
