Advice on booking Villa South of France?

Hi Folks - anyone out there have experience/advice on booking a Villa in the South of France? Thinking of doing this for 2-3 weeks this summer - need to know where to book and how much it will cost etc. + advice on cheapest ways of getting there. All advice appreciated.....:)
