You think Wand is over rated?

I have to agree with you about GEnki, after all, I under rate him and I think he's a demi god.

Why do you think those Irish guys are under rated? THey are generally recognized to be around / or the top of their devisions, no?

Wanderlei: I know that his nuthugging has calmed somewhat but he hasn't impressed me since the Rampage fight -which rocked.

Genki is probably the most entertaining fighter in the world. Great attitude. Seems like a cool guy. Is a good showman but backs it up with incredible skills. WE ARE ALL ONE!

Tom- People often think that he'll lose matches (eg Eoin, Adrian) but he surprises everyone. I know he finds it hard to get the conditioning time in with his schedule.

Tim- I've doubted him before and he keeps proving me wrong. Great sportsman.

Mick- Should have had a title shot. It was ridiculous that he didn't!

Micky Young... I was convinced that you beat him as was everyone in my company.

I suppose when you put it like that, Tom is seriously under rated. When I think about it he seems to enter every fight as an "under dog" even though he's massively experienced and has a great record.

I think Wand is amazing, he's like Fedor, except in 5 years as champion people havent been able to adapt to his game and topple him.

Micky Young amazed me with his toughness, the whole way trough the fight he looked scared but it didnt seem to affect his performance! As a sports man he is absolutely cool.

Genki is the man, We are all one! Anyone who doubts him, blah blah should check out the west side tourney vid that floats around of him. Unreal.

AS for my top 3's I really dont know, I tought I'd see what people put up here.

I saw that fight, Pearse won. Hands down.. You fierce little monster.

I don't like to think any fighters are overrated or underrated. I think they all get found out eventually. I rate fighters by what I personally think of them and not what the mass public does so I think in my eyes, they are all rated just fine and dandy.

As far as the mass public goes, I think Tito Ortiz is highly underrated. On forums he gets alot of slack.. But the truth is, the guy is a great fighter and a cardio machine. As much as I dislike him, I think he'll prove his worth in 2006.

I think Tom haddock seriously under rated, as others have said, he is always the underdog, but he beat E geraghty who looks considerably stronger and Degorski who is a pro standard boxer. just because he doesn't look the part he gets discounted. Serious amount of experience.
I also think Tim Murphy is under rated. maybe its because of his tkd background, but nobody gives him a chance who ever he fights, he hammered c o'reilly ( no disrespect to him) but i remember after that fight guys were lining up to fight him because they thought they could take him easy.
Drummo, and also that guy that fought him last time, his first fight i think.

Over rated:
i don't know anyone Irish you could say is over rated, i would like to see D Roche fight, but i heard he had problems with injuries and also personal issues, so i wouldn't say he is over rated but he does have a reputation that is hard to live up to. I am sure he is as frustrated by this as anybody.
Randy Couture has gone from being under rated against Tito, to being put in a position where he is deemed infallible. From under rated to over rated i think.

Dave Roache is amazing, seriously.

That said he is the world's most unlucky man. Some of the stuff that has gotten in his way of fighting is just incredible. It's like a comedy, actually a farse. If you get to spar him you'll know he ain't over rated. Tito has never been rated accurately, he is always either way over rated or way under rated. Apparently, and i haven't met the guy, he is one of themost approachable fighters, really cool to fans and really down to earth.

I dont think he's a cardio machine though, he had better cardio than most LHWs back in the day but not anymore.

I don't doubt that, under rated is probably not the word i should use, the guy has a reputation that would be hard to live up to whoever he was. Would really like to see him fight though. Maybe should have put him in the "unluckiest Irish fighters category".
