Hauppauge Nova - S - Recording off Sky

Hi Guys, First posting here. I have a laptop and also (in another room) Sky Sports etc running on NTL box. I'm considering buying a Hauppauge Nova-S USB card - this will let me record digital TV and burn to CD/DVD. Ideally I'd like to record Sky SPorts programmes and burn to CD/DVD. Is this possible if I sign up to NTL…

Hi Guys,
First posting here.

Ideally I'd like to record Sky SPorts programmes and burn to CD/DVD. Is this possible if I sign up to NTL Multiroom? Or would the Nova card only record Free Sat broadcasts?

IThink I got a solution. Obviously NTL is cable so I don't need a Nova S card (S for satellite). ALl i have to do is buy a WinTV PVR USB 2 (Hauppauge).
