i cant remember the server but sh*t , noob tubes everyone was using !
of course it was the f2000 (never should have been introduced into the game!), im sorry but sessions like that really tend to turn you off this game!
I have have been playing bf right from bf1942, but i feel theirs an extreme over usage of these launchers sometimes.
i cant only hope for patch 1.2

I think the main reason that they piss me off is that you don't hear the explosion, so one instant you're running along, the next you've died for no apparent reason. It makes it look too easy.

I believe that they are reducing the blast range for the grenade launcher so that it can only really be used for its original purpose: light vehicle destruction.

aye the n00b tubber kinda get annoying , but are server we decided to kick excess n00b tubbing as it ruins the game for ever one else

we have a good balanced server with no muppets on it

Well there is one solution, use the gun yerself. Of cource that makes the asumption that ya gave EA games more money and not every one has. Makes the over powering of the f2000 seem financilly drive. That said I intend to get as much milage out of the f2000 till it gets castrated in the next patch. I never thought much of th egrenade launcher ability I just think its a class rifel, ive stoped using the G3 since i got the F2000 and I used to love the G3.

Erm you cant really classify someone as a muppet because he used a nade launcher, next people will be muppets if they use a tank or a plane. Just because someone repeatdly kills you with something that is part of the game and is not an exploit does not make them a muppet.

Kicking people for excessive noob tubing is just plain stupid and if you ask me I wouldnt set foot on a server that had a stupid rule like that.

well if they arent a good shot at long range, when the new patch comes in there will be no more short range kills, bouncing grenades, going to have some fun with them, bouncing round corners.

Aye there will be no real difference except that you wont get wtf pwned at point blank range. Instead you should have players trying to be tactical with their nades.

yeah, the walking around a corner to get hit with one and die while the owner wanders off is a bit cack to say the least.

The bouncing effect willl make it better to be honest, especially in city maps or with bunkers. I tube myself, fairly good acuracy but to be honest i'd rather use the gun itself but at the moment it's tube or be tubed. As kicking people for it, thats just stupid. what fairy says makes sense. as far as i'm concerned the C4 guys who jump into a crowd drop it and set it off, taking themselves and 5 others is way worse and more stupid, i saw a guy rake up 50 kills in karkland with this last night, noone complains about that.

Aye now c4 jumping wasnt meant to be in the game. Its a sort of soft exploit as is dolphin diving. But as these guys are not cheating then they cant really be kicked.

As long as the patch delivers what its says and doesnt break other stuff then the game will improve greatly.

N00b tube and the F2000 are just another weapon and not all powerful. See a tube shot coming, jump. It will hit the ground and you'll be alive and kicking for another go at the target. It's powerful but not unstoppable.

The site is the only reason i prefer the F2000. The noob tube is the same on any other rifle.

sorry we kicked him for excessive n00b tubbing and team killing with said n00b tube , that and all he was doing was bunny hopping around firing the nade launcher and he killed more of his team then the other side , so i kinda worded that wrong sorry , take his score first 5 min he had -11 we attack a flag they defend it he'd bunny hop and fire and bang the 3 defender in his team dead along with the attacker , i didnt mind since im attacking i expect to get killed , but his team got killed 3 times that way we asked him to stop he didnt so we kicked him

tbh u cant complain about the weapon unless ppl are using it to do blow hit people with no accuracy and dont mind killing themselves. If people are good with it y not take advantage. I love the rifle and i am accurate with it at ranges in which case u cant complain. All guns have strengths/weaknesses. Frag grenades can be more useful at times than the launcher. Are u going to complain about nade spammers? Or people that use the AT rockets for infanty kills? If people are using it and ur getting killed loads by it then try being stealthy, find more open areas and be more alert. Kill them first, problem solved

In dod:s the rifle nades are pretty popular, but not invincible. The nades dont explode on impact like in bf2 which A) gives you at least a small chance to get the hell away from it before it explodes, or you can pick it up and chuck it back if youre fast enough. Also the nades are affected by realtime physics so you can roll them down a hill towards someone or bounce them off walls around corners, something like that should be implemented in BF2 t stop nade spamming. I remember the same complaint about the LAW in BFV with people constantly calling it the 'noob tube' aswell :rolleyes:

i love the assault class, i love the underslung grenade launcher.

what i hate is bunnyhopping fags who are near impossible to get reg on even when you know you hit them.

i cant wait till the nades have their contact explosion removed and explosion radius lowered.
