I have two Pace 2500 that need new tuners. (£18 each from Kesh Electronics). if you want to risk it you can pick them up with the tuners removed (the hard bit).

I've removed the tuners, but I got a new box free from Sky, so wasn't inclined to send off to Kesh Electronics for new ones. Soldering in is easy, desoldering is the hard part.

One is 5 years old and the other slightly younger.

No G'tee the tuner is the fault, but the Z. I. F. tuners DO go in this model (replacement tuner module does not have the fault) and all menus / PSU functions checked out OK. From cold they both worked and then after 5 min or so lost signal.

I'll find out what postage is and add a small bit for packaging.

Watty, if you or anyone else has a sky box that doesn't need repair, I would be very interested. I'm afraid I'm a bit mechanically challenged so soldering would be a (metal) bridge too far

If anyone has a dish I would also be interested.

(Apologies if this is in the wrong forum: Mods feel free to delete if so - I'll be posting in the for sale/wanted section also but just happened to see the thread.....)

No, only the two boxes that need tuners. I can fit them, but the money would be non-refundable if it didn't work...

I bought all my kit on eBay but the postage gets kinda expensive from the UK. There are quite a few people selling used Sky boxes + dishes in the B&S, that might be a good place to look as well. Most of the dishes sold on eBay are 45cm mini-dishes for England and they're not really suited to Ireland.
