I know people at Vicar Street, friends of the family, and [blank] has confirmed that they were recently approached to make this happen. the next 'phase' of the metallica plan is to apparently return to roots with a club tour of europe in december. you can deny it, call me a liar, even tell me that will never happen and give me 100% reasons why metallica suck....but believe me, this will happen, and when it does....you will ask, you will ask yourselves, how the **** did that guy know in january! Listen to me, this will happen, prepare yourself now, because after this you're going to be dead!

Em that would sell out way to fast. People would be killing each othere to get tickets. Maybe if they did 2 or 3 nites.

that would be brilliant! but they would sell out far too fast, no matter how many nights you have. I mean if you had them playing enough night to accomadate enough seats for one night in the Point, the tickets would sell out 10 times faster. like already stated, there would be killin's for the tickets

    Possible but bull ****,
1.That would mean to accomidate all their fans in the countrys they are touring they would be touring for ages, not gonna happen at this stage of their life.
    2. With the wohle Hetfield family scenario he needs to be home frequently to do the whole "father" thing.
    3. As much as i would love to see metallica in a small venue, they are a stadium band and that is where you get the best atmosphere. I know people who saw them in the SFX theatre years and years ago here and that is a small venue. They said it was much better in a big place with a ****ing electric atmosphere.
    4. I dont think they will be here by december, they usually tour the states first and who knows when the album will be done!!!

As much as i want this to be true IT IS NOT.

Not complete balls possibly. If anyone can remember about 2 years ago at Christmas Justin Timberlake played Vicar St. It was announced about an hour before the tickets went on sale on the Jerry Ryan show.
