Was just curious as to whether anyone here has ever worked on a cruise ship before.

I'm thinking of doing it myself and was wondering if anyone who has worked on one could tell me what it's like. The job I'm going for involves organising activities and all that jazz.

So,to whom it may concern, did you like it? Was it a worthwhile experience? Was it any fun? Just let me know how it was in general.

    Cheers! :D

A friend of mine worked on the QE2 for a few years when he was younger, he loved it. Only last week he was saying he would go back in a flash if he was 10 years younger. He was one of the many food and beverage managers on board.

my mate is working on a huge ship called the saga ruby as a beautitian she is gettin 130 pound a week.
she said she doesnt do much work because the clients are old but shes travelling the world.
she expected to make a lot more money has been away now 4 months and has only saved 1000 pounds as all her expenses such as alcohol are taken from her acc.
