My longest ever STT

Was involved in a STT on PPP (nine-handed) today that went on for 154 hands. It lasted about one hour and ten minutes instead of the usual 40/50 minutes

I was wondering is this unusual or do people experience marathon games like this regularly?

not sure what the average is. I've played STTs that are over within 30 hands and games that go on for 150-160 hands.

I think (haven't looked back over stats yet) that the "normal" amount of hands is somwhere between 75-100. Multi-table, you won't notice it then, everytime you leave a table fire another one up, which is great until you're down to the last 3 on 3-4 tables at the same time

Maybe you were playing on the new 'extended' ones with extra time between levels.

sng's on full tilt regularly take over an hour, alot even up to 90 minutes.
playing 200+ of these in a week will cause serious brain damage.

The last SNG I played lasted 95 mins and 181 hands.
