Outlook Express won't send emails

    Has anyone had a problem with outlook express lately. A few weeks ago my problems started, All of a sudden I could not send emails from Outlook Express. I narrowed it down to a problem with the Norton Anti virus and Firewall software. I uninstalled both Norton programs and Outlook started working sending emails again. I then re-installed Norton, updated them and everything was fine for about 10 days.

    Then yesterday, I can not send emails again. I have a couple of email accounts that use different mail servers, so my problem is not with a particular mail server.

    I can send email by web-mail, and I can receive mail into Outlook.

    Before I pull my hair out, I just wondering is their anyone out there that can throw light on this.

    Norton is the prob I bet. Uninstall it again (using the process detailed on Norton's site to make sure it's fully uninstalled). If you cen then send mail then reinstall.

    If problem comes back, dump norton and use AVG. It's free!
