    anybody know what this is ? i have it at home & was wondering is it worth doing up ? dunno what it is but i know its early 50;s

    I believe that's a bsa bantam, judging by the 2 stroke engine and that rear suspension.
    Unless you're really attached to it it's probably best to leave it alone, seeing as you need new forks, brakes, seat, lights wheels and tyres, bearings, fuel lines, spark plug, chain, gearbox and engine are probably seized, judging by the state of it. they're lovely litle yokes when in good condition but you'll never make money from it as it's only like 120cc or 150 depending on model and not exactly a prized collectors machine. Think honda cub 90 and that's what that was in it's day.
