What would be the general cost of the following. For both a once-off and also an effective ad campaign?

Television (RTE Channels, TV3) - RTE majority shareholders in TV3 (am I right?)
    Radio
    Billboards (City centre, business areas)
    Leaflets
    Online (www.ireland.com etc)

    Thanks.

Feel free to suggest more effective ways of advertising too :)

your "effectiveness" will depends on target market and product tbh.

BTW, RTE are not majority shareholders in TV3.
Granada TV (45%), Windmill Lane, and CanWest, who are selling their 45%.

Is your campaign to include all or just some of the above types of media?

Really need more info beforehand :)

    www.medialive.ie has all your answers,

Make sure you know what target market you want to promote your product to or the money will wither away very very quickly.

Also go by the michael O'Leary theory of doing it inhouse as you know you product a lot better than a junior exec ever will.

A free PR avenue is one to definitely explore! A. its free B. its exposure.
For example, if you're launching a new product for the greater good of the Irish public, you can be sure that live tv programs will love to hear about it, as well as radio shows etc.

If you call up each individual media outlet and ask for their rate card price list, and then inquire about series discounts, I'm sure you'll be surprised by the chunk of change you're left with. Media companies need ad revenue and are always willing to bargain.

What kind of product/service/area are you talking about here? Would be easier to give thoughts then..
