Good PC Monitor For XBOX 360

Hi all (first thread) so here goes,

Got my 360 but cant afford HD TV, so I have been looking for a cheap alternative ie. PC monitor and VGA adaptor.

Been shopping around and have found this :

Good reviews and widescreen 16:10 (1440 x 900 native resolution) and £230 STG at overclockers.co.uk

My main concern is the 360 will only display 1280 x 768 at 16:10 aspect ratio and dont know how it will look on the monitor.

What do you think

I dunno about the aspect ratio, but 230quid sterling will get u a philips 17inch hd tv. im gonna go for that.

got it over the weekend for pc use and also 360. its lovely and crisp for both. nice price and has recieved fantastic reviews from 360 users. there is also someone else on boards who has it for their 360... they recommended it to me.

i had trouble getting it shipped to ireland so i got it delivered to my brother's in london as i was headin over there anyway. carried it back on sunday nite. if you want pics of it using the 360 i can post some up if ur interested

Savastore.co.uk have them mine came today and it is class.... For Pc + xbox 360 well worth it you cant go wrong with that kinda money.

I was looking at that monitor and was giving it alot of thought, its very similar to the viewsonic (same res etc), just without the DVI input which would be nice as wouldnt have to keep swapping between 360 and PC. But at that price ya can't complain

glad you like it, did you source a vga cable, i use it with my powerbook and ordinary xbox and it is first rate.
