In college here and I cannot delete files from my usb hard drive.
Also, I can only sometimes copy files to the hard drive.
There is 12GB of free space and the file is only 20MB.
I cant copy from DOS either..:
    C:\>copy des f:
    des\Blow.avi
    Access is denied.

Above: trying to copy the folder des to f:(the usb 2 HD)..
    HELP..
a mate has a HD also and is getting the same problem...

edit; i also tried deleting from DOS with /F..

Copy everything of it temporarily format it and then put everything back on. I did something similair before when i put share permissions up on the hd over a network and could'nt delete anything after i removed and put the hd back in. then again i'd an ass load of space on my system.

I'm back at home now and it is working perfectly again.. so the problem seems to be just in college..
