The Bonus Whore of Babylon

Has anybody here actually gone proper bonus whoring, stockings, suspenders and the works? At bonuswhoring.com (if that's the address, but you know the one I'm talking about) it says you can make $1000 a month, and some pros make about $3000 a month, but what kind of stakes should you be playing at to qualify for the rakebacks and bonuses? Do you qualify quicker if you play at higher stakes, or is it just the number of raked hands? And how long should it take to qualify for the bonus at say, any of the Prima sites?

I'm only playing online a couple of months now, and my (online) bankroll is still quite small, so I'm also wondering what kind of sum should you be starting off with? (Keeping in mind that I haven't ever deposited - and I don't plan to, I've made it all in freerolls and free signup bonuses and so on.) I was thinking of building it up to about $200 and moving on?

Anyhoo, any info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

This is a poker forum not really an online gambling/gaming forum.
For people who would like to have a look at different signup and reload bonuses I'd recommend bonuswhores.com and pokerlistings.com and rakebackreview.com
I've used all of the above personally and have had no problems.
The twoplustwo.com Bonus forum is a good one to keep an eye on, there's players there who have it down to a fine art and report on every new bonus going.

Even though your post reeks of pimping a site you're involved with, bonuses are a very handy way to increase a small bankroll.

Being good at poker is a much better one though.

Given the title of this thread, it begs the philosophical and moral question: is it better to be a pimp than a whore?

Hey - what the hell? How does my post sound like I'm pimping a site? The site I mentioned (which I got wrong, but I forgot the name) is bonuswhores.com, and you've heard of it anyway! I was just asking for some advice from anybody who's personally done it - I've been on both bonuswhores.com and pokerlistings.com before and I just wanted to see if anybody here had tried the methods and to see how they got on, especially because I'm not playing online poker that long. Where else would I find people who had used poker bonuses than in a poker forum? I don't see how shopping for bonuses is gambling.

I've posted on this forum a couple of times before, and to be honest, your vague assertion that I'm only here to somehow subliminally advertise websites is a bit offensive.
