After reading this thread: Boltblue.com, scumbags takin €2.50 off me every time they send me a message!Any help?, I was wondering if anyone had the same problems I was having when I was on Vodafone Pay As You Go.

Basically, I would send a txt and everynow and again, the message would be send 2 or 3 times. It would only show as being sent once on my phone, but I was charged for each txt. All my friends who have Vodafone PAYG phones have suffered the same. Any of you's get ie? Is it just a bad system on their network, or is it just a new way they have of ripping off their customers?

Can't say I've never noticed that happening to me. Tho I send a lot of texts thru their website so it costs me f-all anyway (<- I presume!)

Never happens to me unless I accidentally send it twice. It does happen sometimes on vodafone.ie though- my record was recieving the same message 15 times! But that's free so it doesn't matter.

that used to happen to me all the time. I was on a bill fone too. I didnt know anything about it til my boyf and mum told me it had been happening for ages. Worst of all people used to think I was being really impatient or a bit psycho cos it looked like I was sending messages oevr and over!

I'd check that if I were you. meteor say the web texts are free too, but they charge for every single one. Its a work mobile though, so i dont mind too much, also its easier to type on a keyboard thana phone.

    vodafone webtexts are free...

as for sending them multiple times..you need to ring them and complain...also have the person who received the texts multiple times ring and report the problem...ask for your money back..otherwise they wont offer it!

I would check that you are not sending messsages over 160 characters. Alot of phone now allow you to send messages way over this and the phone links them together but you are charged for every 160 characters in the message.

Yep, webtexts from Meteor are free. I often get repeat txts from Voda numbers as well, maybe another rip-off frm Voda?
