Darren Daly was over in Holland this weekend with myself and Keith Colton.

While over there Darren shot three Irish Junior Records.

    All on 40cm faces
    282/300
    561/600
    1118/1200

    Congrats to Darren

Also Keith Got a few PB's for himself
    277/300
    545/600:D

The Intervarsities should be Intresting in 2 years when Darren starts College.

Fair play to him - he certainly has the best form of any junior I have seen in recent years - his line is very good, albeit the way he gets in line is a bit odd - he deserves those records. If Toxof doesn't manage to have my record then I think he might :)

I managed a 552 over there but blew it...

At one stage with 9 arrows left i was on for a 290/300 and the nerves got to me... still ended up with a 279.

I think your record is safe for a while. I still find it hard to get over the 555 mark. Thats my pb and I got it while Extreamly Hung over at the Dublin Archers shoot in November.

Darren got 279 4 times over there. The old Irish record is 279 so he was pissed every time even though at the time 279 was a new pb for him.

old irish record was 283 (afaik) by stephen fay in valentiens shoot many moons ago, was a great competition, stephen & keith hanlon were arrow for arrow until the last 3

Oh yeah... I remember someone, (Prob you) saying he got a 290 or something.

Was he a junior at the time?

Maybe he never gave it to Keith Hanlon. He takes all the records and gave me a list which said David O'Brien 279
