This could be fun. I'll leave this open until the Probowl. Only one vote per user please. Just post a reply with who you think is the best player that didn't get the call to go to Hawaii

    VOTE: Lofa Tatupu.

Was always going yo be tough when Urlacher and Trotter are in your conference but this guy is simply outstanding. Have to keep reminding myself that he's a rookie. I sincerely hope Seattle can hang onto him for all of what certainly looks like a great career.

    Derrick Mason, WR Ravens

    Mike Vrabel (New England)

Agree with Roethlisberger but he didn't deserve to be in there ahead of Manning, Brady or Palmer

Pat Williams! One of the best DT's in the league this year.

Antoine Winfield, 98 tackles ... 89 of which were solo! Thats pretty damn amazing and he got nowhere near the pro bowl.

Ok maybe im being a little biased as a vikings fan but still, those 2 players had an amazing season.

    Al Harris or Nick Barnett.

The Packers' defence was ranked #7, and sent nobody to the Pro-Bowl.

    Agree with Dodge, Mike Vrabel

Todd Heap! A constant threat and IMO the best Raven of last year!

From a steeler fan i think bettis shud not be in the pro bowl but willie parker might be a better pick as he had over 1000 yards.

Parker had a good season alright but it's the Roethlisberger question again; why should Parker get in ahead of James, Johnson or LT?

The title of the thread is 'Best Player NOT in ProBowl', not 'Players who should have been in the ProBowl'. Parker doesn't have to be better than those three to be the best player that didn't make it.

Ok So let's have a little summary of the voting thus far:

    Neil3030: Lofa Tatupu
    The jock: Ben Roethlisberger
    evil seed: Derrick Mason
    Dodge: Mike Vrabel
IncredibleBulk: PLEASE CONFIRM - Pat Williams or Antoine Winfield?
Slow coach: PLEASE CONFIRM - Al Harris or Nick Barnett?
    Manny7: Mike Vrabel
    irishraven: Todd Heap
Melion: PLEASE CONFIRM - Big Ben or the Bus?
    Lothaar: PLEASE VOTE!!

So Vrabel is steaming ahead with 2 votes. Big Ben is looking good with 1 vote and one potential vote. I'm noticing (me being as guilty as anyone) a striking trend in nominating players from teams people support!!

Since Brett Favre is one of the all-time greats, and he isn't going to Hawaii, he's obviously the best player not in the Pro-Bowl.:D

Winfield. He played amazing this year and if it wasnt for Sharper picking off QBs like mad he might of just got the media attention his season deserved.

I'm not a patriots fan. Just think Vrabel brings that X factor to a defence (and now and again shows off by catching a 3 yard td pass)
