Hi guys. I have a bit of a problem here. I wanted to download a site for offline browsing. I used the make available offline option in IE's favorites menu. Sure enough after an age I had a 97MB file in my offline pages folder. I went to copy it onto a removable drive and the file dissappeared. The weird thing is if I set IE to work offline I can browse the site, so the files must be on the HD somewhere. The address points to the normal www.blabla.. but I'm definitely offline as I can't access any external links.
    Anyone with any suggestions?

EDIT: That link isn't a link

Thanks for the tip Cremo. I tried that but I think the fact that I tried to use it here at work prevented it from working properly. Something to do with the network maybe. I've also tried Backstreet Browser but again to no avail. The inbuilt option in IE is the only one that seems to work and now I can't find the frigging file

can you go back to the site online and save the file as a web archive single file in IE.

File >> save as >> save as type: web page archieve single file (.mht) >> then save to the desktop?

Fraid not. That only saves the homepage. I need the entire content of the site. I might login to my PC without connecting to the netowrk and try and track it down from there. Might be a long shot but worth trying at this stage.

use the "file -> save as... -> web page complete" and save it to your dvd. It automatically updates all your links to be relative to the folder you've saved in and keeps all files separate...
