Fried 2.5 40 gig hard drive.

i was using a 40gig hitachi 2.5 inche drive with an enclosure and i connected it to a usb port that was wired up to the motherboard header incorrectly. It seemed to have fried the drive as it doesnt spin up any more, i've also tried it in a laptop and its not spinning up in that either. Any ideas if this it atall…

It seemed to have fried the drive as it doesnt spin up any more, i've also tried it in a laptop and its not spinning up in that either.

Any ideas if this it atall repairable?
