UniRoss X-PRESS 1000 Battery Charger

    Hey, anyone have any experience using one of these?
    I got a couple over the weekend and they dont seem to be working.
    The "charged" light didnt go out (after 4+ hours even though they are supposed to be 2.5 hour charge) and the batteries only lasted for 1hr of use.
    Now when I try to charge them again I get the flashing "there is a problem" light...
    For €45 each I expected more...

    Charging the batteries supplied (2000mAh NiMh),eh?
    How many did you try to recharge? (You cannot recharge more than 2AAA at the same time..)
    Where was the charger plugged in..?
    Have you tried to charge the batteries in another charger?
    Where did you buy them? Return... ?

    Yeah followed all the instructions
    From another thread it appears they might be wrong!
    It says that the charge light flashes if there is a problem, lights when charging and goes out when done.
    But it looks like it flashes when charging and stays on when done!
    Feckin thing
