When im watching television my channels start changing .My sky digibox is in my attic and im using a pyramid transmitter /reciever for operating 3 televisions around the house. Its like as if some body else is on the same frequency as me. Is the transmitter/reciever the problem (the range is up to 30 metres, but its 50 metres to the next house). Or is it my sky digibox? Any ideas appreciated
    Thanks Brian

happens with video senders / digisenders all the time. Choice of four video/audio TX channels , but only a single 433Mhz ish channel for IR remote.

Video senders, remote temperature sensors and powermids (and similar etc) all use roughly the same frequency. It is also slap bang in middle of Amateur Radio 70cm Repeater allocation. Mind you I haven't seen one object to the 35W of a mobile radio, but have seen them respond to 10mW of next door's gear.

The range like that of WiFi or Walkie Talkies is approximate. I regularly talk to Poles, Ukrainians etc on a Military backpack with a quoted "battle field" range of 3km!

100m WiFi might only go 20ft or can go 5km.
