I don't know if this was just centralised around Galway and Mayo last week but everyone seemed to be in a mighty foul mood. I know it is not just me noticing this but a few of my friends and one two lecturers expressed the same sentiments. U ask me its all stemming from friday the 13th or something like that... well if i was a superstituos person that is. Neone else notice this or am I yet again imagining things along with a group of imaginative people.

I don't know about last week, but I heard on the news this morning that today is statistically supposed to be the most unhappy / depressing day of the year!

I hate the gobshítes that say things like that, they said that on the first day back at work after christmas too. A load of bollix, the day is what you make it.

Actually forget last week today is actually even more depressing. I'm beginning to agree with statistics. The world is against us.

I totally agree with this sentiment. Why do we always blame others for our bad days when the only person responsible for how we feel is us? I mean, sure, stuff happens, but we have to try to look at things positively.

I felt a flu coming on last monday and decided not to fight it. Just lay in bed for the week reading, drinking tea and being warm. Best decision ever. No guilt whatsoever. Hibernation is the key

And use the energy-save option on your PC/Laptop.

But do you know why it seems the whole country seems depressed?

Because of the lack of Vitamin D ............................. Sunshine.
