I live in the Carrigans/St. Johnston region right on the foyle. I can pick up DFTA Mux's 1&2 but no other ones. I am currently pointing to Brougher Mntn getting about 50% signal unamp'd and around 80% amp'd. Anyone know why I would be getting 2 streams and not the rest? Bought a new Triax 52 C/D-W aerial and running a bush DFTA11 Rx. Aerial aint on roof yet to try Limavady but a neighbour is pointing to there and I think he is getting the same issue, only getting 2 streams (Maybe 3). Anyone got any ideas or help on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Almost certainly the reason why you can only get Muxs 1 & 2 from Brougher Mountain is that the A, B, C and D from Brougher lie on the same frequencies as the RTÉ Television (and TV3/TG4) from Holywell Hill. A strong Holwell Hill signal vs. a weakish Brougher Mtn. signal - Holywell wins!:p

Should be much more worthwhile trying Limavady. What multiplexes can your neighbour get and not get?

Thx 4 the quik response. Dunno what he gets as I dont see them that much. When I asked b4 he said he wasnt getting channel 5 or nothing but I did try myself getting a bit of height on the aerial and pointing to limavady. Was getting ch5's groups of channels at somewhere round 30-40% with the booster...absolutely nothing without. Wasnt getting any real signal of bbc at all...could get maybe 4mux's pretty weekish. No booster, no go basically - and even boosted it was pure digifuzz. The aerial was maybe 8ft below the current aerial if even at that. Have a new pole (bout 7ft) to go up now just to get the installer to get it up there to test but signal was nowhere near as good as brougher mtn as bbc and ITV is watchable even without the booster there. Will post back so as database can be updates as a good/bad reception area.
