Because bouncers are by and large, not nice people.

Theres 2 clubs in particular where the bouncers are always doing crap like that (from my own and my mates experiences). Just happens for whatever reason, dont take it personally. not alot you can do

bouncers serve very little purpose in life. they stand there, look hard and refuse people entry for their own amusement. you could complain to the management of the place you're a regular and see what happens... if you're not happy with not being let in this week, don't go back next week

    That will solve nothing.

At the same time, theyre not so useless if a fight breaks out. Theyre basically paid to be impersonal assholes,

Ive worked in with bouncers, basically they can be friendly, sound guys to chat to, but as soon as they see a customer comin they go into bouncer mode, one that says "I dont take no ****, i dont laugh, dont smile, what i say goes, dont step out of line buddy". Its the nature of the job, so suck it up and dont take it personnally.

Then of course there are the assholes, but ya get them in every job.

Why dont you name the clubs Flex, nothing wrong with saying how you feel about a place based on something you have experanced.

I would never have problems with bouncers really, i get asked for id but thats fine. I see the people who get refused, they are fellas, they have ripped jeans, they are wearing ben sherman t-shirts, they may or may not have earrings and they will hate bouncers even before they are told they are not getting in tonight.

When i aproach a bouncer i will acknolegde them by saying "Hey, how's it going?" Then walk on. Or if there is a queue, have my id ready to hand to them again saying someting that shows i dont think they are just a bouncer.

There muct be a reason why your not getting in like. Because its not happening to me and im out on average 3 nights in a week.

    Dave.

Maybe they think your personality matches your location?

No, it's all to do with numbers.
If you are refused with no good reason, it's due to the venue being full.

If you go to most places before half nine, or, before a que forms, you won't find trouble, afterwards, you just might.
