• I’ve been playing BF2 for over a month and I still don’t know how to fly a chopper or a jet. Any time I get in a chopper I turn it upside down.
• Even on servers with low ping times it takes so long for the lag to calm down everyone else has been playing for 2 minutes before I can join them.
• I can’t climb the grappling hook or zip line or jump over fences because anyone I ask either doesn’t know how or won’t tell me.
• Some retard created a squad called “mic-only”, I joined and nobody spoke.
• I shot a guy 157 times at point blank range with a G3 and he survived shooting me twice with a pistol and killing me despite me having full health.
• When someone close by starts shooting me I can never run over, jump on them and stab them before they kill me, but its happened to me 926 times today.
• Idiots want to join my squad but still want to go off on their own to complete opposite ends of the map.
• On the ghost town map I spawned and died within 3 seconds 6 times in a row because of artillery and spawn killers and there was nowhere else to spawn thanks to the useless bastards on my team.
• I keep getting shot in the back thanks to useless morons in my squad all looking in the same direction.
• Offering me ammo is not going to make me forgive you for shooting me. “I don’t need ****ing ammo, I need a medic now thanks to you”
• Playing this game is like playing football with idiots who never pass the ball.

Funny thing is, I actually did thrash my headphones tonight because some [expletive] stood behind my tank, then when I was shot at and went back a bit, he got killed, so he punished me for the teamkill!! Hurrah!!!

So at 3.35 tonight, I yelled, swore, threw my headphones across the room, yelled and swore some more, retrieved my headphones, reassembled them, and resigned myself to the fact my housemates are going to kill me tomorrow.

My idiot pilot got me killed three times because he kept trying to fly despite the fact he hadn't even bothered learning how in single player first.

Nearly every one of those problems is typical of
someone that has played **** all.

The reason the chopper/jet is flipping is because you
have not turned on invert mouse in the settings.

I didn't have a clue about the grappling hook or zip line
either but common sense would let you think it might
be the same button that lets you get into a jeep,tank etc...

I dont have the manual as i downloaded SF.

If BF2 is upsetting you this much I think you would be
better off uninstalling the game. As one user pointed
out last week, the idiots online are well decumented
in nearly every thread in this forum. You just have to
get used to it.

play with the controls and join a server with 1 or 2 people... practise, or play in singleplayer mode to practise

is it lag or your computer? i had horrendous lag making it impossible to get kills, and it calmed down a bit after a few minutes. play with some settings and get more ram

tbh i've no clue about the grappling hook yet either. but when it annoys me i'll go find out. zip line is easy enough. right click to bring up a target, shoot. press e to slide down it. when you're at your destination, press g to retract the line

get used to it. there'll always be an element of idiots. same goes for every other game though

that's because bullets tend to travel over distances and when inserted into opponents face, tend to have lethal effect

yeah that's a big problem too. try shouting at them

also sucks. usually if there's an admin around they'll give a warning to commanders doing that. but if you've no other spawn points and you're being baseraped, best bet is to swim or run around the map and cap a flag miles away
