Anyone else got this BF2:SF issue?

I've noticed that when playing BF2:SF (on either the new maps or the original set) as any of the foreign language teams (e.g. chinese, middle eastern, russian etc.) that I cannot get the ENGLISH option working.

I've gone into the options screen but it just doesn't allow me to click on the relevant box/area. Works fine in BF2, but will not work in BF2:SF... which of course makes it really nasty when trying to listen to comms whilst playing as one of these teams, because listening just doesn't cut it...now I have to read the damn things as well.

Anyone else hit this problem and if so - how do I correct it?

It only works when you're not already connected to a game, and can't be changed when one's already running.

oh man... where is the option to turn it to English?
Do you get the "american" style english, or is it someone with an Arab/Asian voice speaking in English?

And there I was thinking I was learning foreign languages while gaming....

It's the exact same voices as the Americans regardless of what side. Which is odd as that also includes the SAS.

ah but it's not the same...and besides if you're a good player then you're fairly aware of everything that's going on...

Found the option and tried it last night....
Have to say, I'm going to change back, as I liked the MEC and Chinese war cries better!
The Chinese "chucking a grenade" is funny... sounds like a Chinese pronouncing "eeh, chocolat!" in their best french accent.

Another important aspect though... when infiltrating other bases (especially around buildings), I'd often hear the enemy's foreign voice... sometimes I hear "medic!!! followed by "thanks champ" so I know there's more than one around. ;)
