I have an interview for AOL next week (Grad Software Developer) Has anyone gone for an interview there and can you remember any questions you were asked?

Btw would companys normally pay travel expenses for grads? I know alot of the bigger UK based companys do

Is this in Dublin or in London? TBH, I have never heard of an employer paying travel expenses for an interview.

I was paid travel expenses for a trip out to an interview in a hotel on the Naas Rd.

Same company also paid flight expenses for interviews in London. 2 prior interviews with different companies were the same too.

Dublin (I am coming from Limerick). A friend of mine went to VMware in Cork for an interview they gave him a full tank of petrol. Another guy got the train to Dublin for an interview with Erickson and they offered to pay his expense when he got there (but he had thrown away the receipts and never bothered claiming). A lot of the London companies (very large companies) I applied to offered to cover travel expenses for all prospective applicants

Strange goings on indeed. I have travelled the length of the country for job interviews and not once was I offered my expenses. Seems to me that "if you want the job so much you will pay to get there" mentality exists.

Which is a bit stupid as some companys want you to attend many interviews. I know of some going to Dublin (from Limerick) 5 times for an interview with Microsoft, but she got the job so it worked out ok.

Anyway anyone ever work for AOL Technologies or go for an interview with them and remember what questions they were asked/what they are like to work for?
